McKenzie River Bigfoot Pictures Big, dark and handsome Sasquatch rises to the occasion!
Recently, someone examined a video shot back in 2008 of the McKenzie River in Oregon. The video topic is about navigating the river's rapids and fly fishing. Lo and behold in the background, a Bigfoot that was hiding in the grass rises up and walks away from the boaters. Is it Bigfoot filmed beside the McKenzie River? There's been some debate about this.
When watching the video, it is apparent that neither the boaters or camera crew were aware of the Sasquatch moving nearby. What people are debating is whether not the moving anomaly is Bigfoot or really just a stump seen from different angles as the camera man's boat moves down river. After examining the Bigfoot video from McKenzie River ourselves, we feel it is not a stump. When looking closely, the creature actually rises above the grass. For this effect to simply be a stump, the camera man's boat would have had to rise in the water quite a bit to see this much of it. Also, arms appear after the Bigfoot appears. Matt from BFRO (Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization) had this to say about it:
"...A dark, long-armed figure stood up and walked away from the edge of the river as the two white-water row boats passed by. The cameraman was shooting a YouTube installment for a fly fisherman’s blog site."
Javier from GhostTheory argues that this is really just a stump and a trick of the eye, known as pareidolia:
"You see a large plant/tree in the foreground that blocks part of the dark object in the background. Creating a pareidolia effect. This effect makes the background object appear that it has a long arm. When you closely examined the zoomed in and slowed footage, it is clear that we are dealing with a large rock or tree stump."
Below is a photograph of the Bigfoot. Watch the two Bigfoot videos below and decide for yourself whether or not Bigfoot was unwittingly photographed beside Oregon's McKenzie River. Pay attention to the arms of the Bigfoot in both photos...

This Bigfoot video was made by Javier of GhostTheory in order to debunk the creature as being a stump. What do you think?
Left: Original fly fishing video. The Bigfoot can be seen moving in the clip from between 1:38 - 1:44.
